Information and advice

Providing information and advice is a crucial part of our work. There are many resources for persons with visual impairment and we inform our service users on where to find them and how to benefit from them. They are signposted to other organisations and charities providing services that could be helpful. Our service users ask about a wide range of issues – from simple, practical things to very complex ones and we try our best to provide the best answers. Peer support and sharing is also very useful for this purpose, as many service users encounter similar problems and like to hear about ways the others approached and solved them.
