Our Values

INTEGRITY-INNOVATION-RESPECT-DIGNITY-EMPOWERMENT-SUPPORT-FRIENDSHIP

As a professional quality service, we aim to enable people with visual impairment to maximise independence within a safe environment. We encourage our service users to transfer their skills in their homes and workplaces.

"It's not just the technical help and support that is valuable to the visually impaired, but the love, help and support we receive while we learn to adjust our social and private lives." MargaretA person-centred approach is at the heart of all our activities. Following an initial assessment, we create – together with each service user – a programme which reflects their specific needs and wishes. Our regular review system ensures everyone’s needs are being met.

Our dedicated team of staff offers a friendly and supportive learning environment. We work with other local agencies to ensure a holistic approach to rehabilitation and we strive to bring a positive change to all levels of a service user’s life – emotional, social, practical, professional and personal.
