The residents are preparing for the festive season

November 28th, 2012

As the nights are getting longer and the days get colder our resident pupils are busily preparing for the festive season . Bridgman and Caulfield are a hive of activity, everyone’s busily foraging for Christmas trees and decorations,  and there is fierce competition surrounding which group’s will be the best dressed!

Lights are being unravelled, musical angels are singing and of course Sue will need to go out and buy more chocolate santas because seemingly they have just DISAPPEARED!!!

This year our visit to the Grotto is on 12th December. We will be visiting Santa in Beechley Stables to give him our very long lists (including the staff). Then return to school for a Christmas party with a difference as it’s a double celebration for James R’s 18th Birthday.

We will be having a “chippy tea”, followed by lots of drinks, cakes and sweets, which are always on offer this time of year. If we can move after eating all that there is a karaoke competition.  We have contestants of a very high standard this year and the judges have got a job on their hands with this year’s talent.
