As a focus of our Harvest Festival Celebration this year, we have chosen a Food Bank in Liverpool. Food Bank is a national initiative that provides food to some of the poorest people in our country.

We would like the children to bring into School, items of tinned food.  We will celebrate our Harvest Festival on Friday October 12 and all donations will be displayed in the School Chapel.  We will then deliver the items to the Food Bank to be distributed.

Perhaps the children could do an extra job at home to earn a donation or buy a tin of food with their own money.

e.g.      washing the dishes – 1 tin of beans

tidying bedroom room – 1 tin of tomatoes
