The National VI Boccia Championships held on 28th April in Sheffield was a great success. Despite being a long days play, the standard of VI Boccia throughout the day was spectacular. The day culminated in a very intense final which was a great way to end the tournament. Many of the spectators praised the skill level of the players and were extremely surprised to hear that all the players are relatively new to the sport.

St Vincent’s very own pupil, Ben won the tournament by beating the number 1 seed and becoming the 2012 National VI Boccia Champion! Well Done Ben, all at St. Vincent’s are very proud of you!!
