During May we finally had a couple of days of nice weather!  This allowed us to have a couple of trips out with some of our Residents, this included a trip to Dobbies Garden Centre and then a wander round the nearby shops and a lovely day out to Otterspool were we enjoyed our lunch – all involved thoroughly enjoyed their days out.

We have also continued to celebrate our Residents birthdays and this month we celebrated Marie’s and Peter’s birthdays, both Residents reside on the same unit and share the same birthday!

This month we enjoyed a ‘game day’, were we enjoyed a variety of different games – some of the games were classics including dominoes, snakes and ladders and connect four.  We have also continued throughout the month with other classic games including ‘play your cards right’, ‘Family Fortunes’ and ‘name that tune’,all of which proved popular and all Residents involved enjoyed the activity.

As usual we have continued with the monthly activities, which are enjoyed by all. Parachute and armchair exercising is always popular amongst our Residents as well as our Knitting Club and other monthly activities have included quizzes, crosswords, bingo, news time and reminiscence.  We are continuing with our Fish and Chip Supper as a monthly Resident’s Social and this month was our busiest month!
