As part of their Citizenship studies, Key Stage 3 have been learning about the war inAfghanistan. They prepared a shoebox for a soldier serving inAfghanistan, which has now been delivered by the Co-op. They found it very interesting to decide what could and could not be sent out. Chocolate was definitely not acceptable as it would melt in the desert heat! The activity has raised their awareness of conflict around the world.
