Support our causes

April 5th, 2013

The wonderful Stephen Hales, a service user from Christopher Grange visual rehabilitation unit will be taking on a 950 mile tandem cycle in aid of raising funds for  our unit, Bradbury Fields and Guide Dogs, as a way of saying thank you for all the support he received in his time of need.

Stephen is registered blind and profound deaf due due to Usher Syndrome. Stephen struggled with his disabilities and became depressed, this is where our centers stepped in. They helped him gain back his confidence and with support of his loving wife and beautiful daughters, Stephen lives a happy and active lifestyle.

If you would like to support Stephen on his tandem cycle ride, or simply find out about his journey and efforts to make this happen, please follow the links to his very interesting blog and to his donation page.
