Volunteers

Volunteers are extremely important for us. Many people offer their time, energy and skills to the Visual Rehabilitation Centre. We have volunteers teaching Braille, serving refreshments during breaks, updating our social media and contributing to our efforts in many other ways depending on their talents and possibilities.

If you think you might like to volunteer for us, please contact us for details .

"When my time as a service user at the Grange was drawing to an end, I didn't want to go and leave this place of friendliness and good comradeship. So when Stephen said, 'Come back as a volunteer,' I practically bit his hand off." Janet        "Being a volunteer at Christopher Grange has been a great experience for me. Not only am I able to use my current skills to support the service users, but I'm also learning a lot myself and I feel more confident in offering assistance to people with visual impairment."
