We would like to say a massive thank you to Matty, Jon Paul and Kate who completed a sky dive to raise funds for Christopher Grange.  Through sponsorship they raised a massive total of £2185 which they have donated to Christopher Grange and we also recieved a £400 donation from Jaguar Land Rover.

We cannot thank our benefactors enough for their generosity to Christopher Grange as it is only with their support and kindness that enables us to continue to provide the very best for our Residents.

On Wednesday 9th November 2016 we held our Annual Meeting here at Christopher Grange with the Right Reverent Paul Bayes, Bishop of Liverpool our special guest who addressed the meeting.

We would like to thank all the Charities benefactors, supporters and visitors for their continuous support and their attendance to this Annual Meeting.  The event was well attended and the feedback from attendees on the day was very positive.

We would like to thank all the staff involved for all their hard work in making this event a success.

During October 2016 our activities continued to thrive with an increase in the number of Residents who attended our ‘Fish and Chip Supper’ at our monthly social which was followed by a pub quiz – this was enjoyed by all!

We continued to celebrate our Resident’s birthday’s and this month we celebrated Jackie and Sid’s birthdays with their friends and families on their respective units.

Armchair exercise has now become a firm favourite with our Resident’s in our activities calendar and our Knitting Club is also proving popular – especially with Gerard and Sid! All Resident’s are welcome to attend and those who don’t enjoy knitting are still coming for a chat and a cup of tea.

This month ‘art’ has become more popular with a visit to our Rehabilitation Centre to admire their paintings and explore their art room.

Our Resident’s are still continuing to enjoy our day to day activities and our new Resident’s are coming along and allows them to develop relationships with other Resident’s from other units.

During October we also celebrated Halloween on the Market Place with Resident’s and their families with our take on ‘apple bobbing’ – using doughnuts and dangling them using string.  Congratulations to Gerard who was our overall winner in this game!
